when buying hiking shoes at Dicks i asked the floor rep why the company had not
taken down the fancy gun racks and replaced the countertops with displays
for a different product. his answer was interesting . he said that the empty
gun rack wasn’t going to be permanently empty.
that caught my interest. he would not elaborate.
imagine what would happen once Dicks gets back to its previous high
revenue mark then puts all the guns back in the stores .
that would make a ripple fly thru the sports outlet market .
sure they are rabid liberals but they are only in this to make money.
i suspect this has as much to do with stocks as it does with politics.
