Police in Virginia say a gun was "discharged accidentally" inside the restroom at a Midlothian Walmart.

The accident prompted a massive police response to the scene, after a search, no shooter was found and no injuries were reported, authorities said.

"No one was shot. No shooter was located. The investigation indicates a firearm was discharged accidentally in a restroom," Chesterfield Police wrote in a tweet about the incident.
