Credit card kerfuffle - Handled.

Called my local police today and, in the 10 minutes it took for the officer to get here, I found another phone number for the guy.

He answered on the third ring and knew it was me. He apologized for cancelling the payment and told me he was working on it with his CC company. I told him there was nothing to "work on" with them and he needed to resubmit the payment.

We hung up and the officer showed up . I told the officer that I was now in contact with the guy, etc.

Dude calls back ten minutes after the officer left and resubmitted payment.

Seems like everything is handled.
