That's too bad. Maybe age isn't the solution.

I got the sense the salesman with whom I was dealing was an honest guy from when he was driving a milk truck with no brakes at age 12 and had to downshift to slow the truck until, 70-75 years later, when he sold me a car. I suppose the opposite can also be true, a young salesturd can grow old being a salesturd all along. One would hope a salesturd would eventually realize that he won't be around forever and that the only remaining artifact of him will be a tombstone that reads "a salesturd to the end," but apparently my hopes are dashed by your old salesturd.
