Picture your wife or girlfriend trying to use jumper cables in the rain and in the dark. Unsure of them selves. Same thing goes with hooking a portable generator up back feeding through a dryer outlet with a double ended plug.

We had a family here about a decade ago, had generator to close to house. (maybe in garage??) The whole family woke up dead.
