I will say again, I don't really care for horror movies, and I care even less for Kristen Stewart.
Surprisingly, this movie is actually worth seeing.
Deep sea diving by itself scares the bejeezus out of me. It's something I'm already afraid of. Toss in some creepy looking monsters and I'm out.
I'm sure hollywood mangled the science. There are some glaring scientific inaccuracies, yes. But as a horror film it works. There are some believable gore scenes. I would NOT take a little kid to see this movie.
Yes, hollywood once again has to make a woman the hero. Get the fxck over it. It was OK with Alien because they weren't constantly shoving that shxt down our throats back then. Yes, it sucks. The movie still works.
No, it isn't the best movie I've ever seen. It IS worth seeing in the theater in my opinion though. Not going to be the same on a TV.
Movie was too short and the end kind of jumps the shark. Can't say a whole lot more without giving it away.
I edited my review before I posted it. I put in spoilers at the end and took them out. I really don't want to ruin this for someone.
Let's just say there were a couple things that happened that really got to me when I was watching it.
Again, I already have a fear of deep sea diving and the fxcked up shxt that can go wrong, so just leave it at that.
