that led to an unhealthy immune system response, so the immunology regarding coronaviruses is apparently a lot more complicated than a simple issue of antibodies or no antibodies. Since several coronaviruses are responsible for variants of the common cold, and no one has developed antibodies or a vaccine to stop the common cold, I imagine there could be ongoing mutations or other phenomena in relation to the human immune system that could complicate the longer term relationship between the virus and the immune system.
